Designer Direct

Program Requirements

Designer Direct offers a program for industry resellers that do not meet the qualifications or do not wish to open an account with wholesale manufacturers. This program requires a simple registration with no minimum annual sales requirements. Here is how it works:

Qualified Participants

You must be a reseller to the industry and be physically located in the contiguous United States.
A copy of your Tax resale license is required once a year or as needed.

Delivery Options

Deliveries are available anywhere in the United States, as long as it is a commercial address with a dock. You may also ship it with your carrier of choice using your own account. Shipping times vary throughout the year.

Sales Material

Designer Direct maintains a design center that includes fabric, leather, finishes, nailhead colors, catalogs and product samples. It is available by appointment only and is located at: 1436 W 12th Place, Tempe, AZ 85281.

Price Lists & Catalogs

Registered participants can download price lists, digital catalogs and more from this site. A password will be sent to you upon receipt of your tax resale certificate.

Designer Pricing

Designer Direct prices are calculated from the Retail price lists.

Product Availability

Sam Moore and Bradington-Young's normal lead time is 6-8 weeks. Due to Covid-19 the lead time is now 28-32 weeks. Fabric or leather shortages will increase lead times. Freight lead times are 4-5 weeks after the product is allocated to the order.

Order Process

All purchase orders must be emailed to: sales@designerdirect.net. An invoice (including freight) will be emailed to you. This is what you use for payment.

Acknowledgments are not sent, but you are welcome to check status on your order at any time after submittal of your purchase order by sending an email to sales@designerdirect.net or mcustcare@gmail.com with the Designer Direct's invoice number.

Payment

All Purchase orders must be paid in full (including freight) before they are sent to the manufacturer. Designer Direct pays for these orders at the time they are submitted to the manufacturer and cannot offer any kind of extended terms. Acceptable methods of payment are checks or cash...no credit or debit cards are accepted.

Refunds & Cancellations

Once the order is in production by the manufacturer, it cannot be changed or canceled. There are no refunds allowed once an order has shipped.

Freight

Freight from the east coast to the Phoenix Metro area is currently 13% or $153 minimum (includes fuel surcharge) Tucson, Az is currently 14% plus 33% fuel surcharge or $199 minimum. For the rest of Arizona the current rate is 15% plus fuel surcharge or $233 minimum. Because Designer Direct consigns the freight, we will choose the carrier. If you desire to use your own carrier please let us know at time of ordering, we typically offer better rates, but you can use your own account, specially when expediting. Freight charges are subject to change at any time.
Shipments cannot be sent to residential addresses. If your receiver has a residential address even though it is a business, please let us know. An additional fee of $50 will apply.
